The good, the bad, and the Deadpool.

Thu Feb 12, 2009, 9:02 AM
The good news- Deadpool will be horrifically scarred. The bad news- he's also going to have a claw coming out of each hand.

I know everbody will panic because of the claw on each hand, but he does use swords in the beggining. Just give it a chance- I know it's hard, but it's one of the downsides of being a Deadpool fan. At least we've got some scarring.

Just try not to let it ruin your experience and keep an open mind.

Hold up a sec dude! You got this off the DPbugle right?

A few comments down someone said a good point on the article, that in the lil toy version he seems to have something on his arms that the blade comes out of and the trailer is not that clear

SO it could (hopefully) just be an arm thing hes wearing :D

Lets just hope for now :)

Either way, let's wait untill after the movie to blow up. Personally I think that even with the claws, the positives out weight the negatives.

What's the point of giving him claws though?
:iconricard08:
I agree with you a lot on that!!

Hey if he does have claws and we DO outrage then maybe theil see how much we love the character and get someone to do it right :P

I would have been fine with an adamantium skeleton- minus the claws. That way, he wouldn't lose limbs, because if he did it would drive the rating to "R". As for the dual claw (remember there's only one per hand), I guess it looks cool enough.

Sure, but as I said, it may work out. Maybe the only thing dipped in adamantium is the claws, he'll get his forearm chopped off, and poof! No more claws. Still, I want to see him in action before I pass judgement.

It just feels a little unnecessary, what with him having swords.

The adamantium skeleton doesn't bother me really, even though they could've had him a regular one and not cut off his arms.
:iconsaqism:
Adamantium katanas would have been cooler.

Oh, totally. And I'm sure they could've gotten away with the limb-chopping off if they didn't make it really bloody.

That aside, I stress not to get too agitated just yet. Wait for the movie to come out to pass judement on it and try to keep an open mind. So long as they get his personality right, the physical changes can be fixed in a solo outing.
